Before Your Tan:
1. Exfoliate 24 hours before your tan, pay particular attention to the knees, elbows and any other dry areas, and then lightly moisturise.
2. Wax/shave 24/48 hours before your tan to allow time for the pores to close.
3. DO NOT moisturise on the day of your tan. Remove make up, lotions, perfume and deodorant before your tan as they can act as a barrier.
4. Wear loose dark clothing and flip flops or loose fitting shoes. The tan will wash out of most clothing, but may stain lighter coloured items, especially nylon. Tight fitting clothing will cause the tan to rub off during the developing stage.

After Your Tan
1. Leave the tan for 8-10 hours before showering
2. Moisturise daily to extend the life of your tan and keep it looking its best. Tan extender can be used every few days to prolong the life of your tan.
3. Do not do excessive exercise, perspire or get wet immediately afterwards as this will affect the finished result.
4. Long hot baths and swimming can fade your tan. Pat skin dry after showering.
5. Have regular top up sessions as this will build and extend the life of your tan.
